To whom it may concern, My name is Amy, and I am a member of the executive board of Typhoon Dance Troupe at Northwestern University. We are a performance group that aims to spread the beauty of China's rich and diverse culture through classical, ethnic, and contemporary styles of Chinese dance. In the past, Typhoon has performed at multiple occasions and venues in both Chicago and Evanston. Just last fall, Typhoon had performed at a restaurant in Chinatown. On May 14th, Typhoon will be having its annual spring show, Typhoon Enchanted, which will showcase a variety of Chinese performing arts. The show will take place on Northwestern's campus in Evanston. We are local residents who enjoy LOVE your restaurant and also parents at another neighbor and friend, the Montessori Academy of Chicago located nearby you and are writing to ask your support.We have an annual fundraiser in May and traditionally one of our biggest items at the silent auction is a collection of gift certificates from the businesses in the neighborhood where many of our families reside. We are over 250 families strong. Additionally the school strives to tie the fundraiser to Dr. Maria Montessori an early champion of building community through commerce. I went this restaurant many times, their business was day day up, sometimes I went there need to waiting, the service was so good. My favors food was smocked pancake, cumin lamb, hand tear beef jerk, and homemade style stewed tofu.

I live pretty close to 32 street and this restaurant is always my first choose. I used to study at Shenyang for 4 years and really have to say this restaurant cook Chinese food for real. They are not american Chinese food, but Chinese Chinese food.

My husband and I had been regular customers at this restaurant for almost a year. We probably ate there at least once a week. We both love Chinese food and after having tried several restaurants in the CHICAGO area, we felt the Homestyle Taste was adequate and better than the others although not best.

FANTASTIC! We eat here all the time, the food is always delicious(and seemed to get better just recently). They have fair prices for the portions served, and the nicest staff.
